The NextDimension Evo expands on our original flextop model, the NextDimension Pro. The addition of greater I/O capabilities and PCI options, the NextDimension Evo truly is an evolution in high-performance mobile computing.
The NextDimension Evo's "quick-time" hot-swappable hard drives make it easy to:
- Alternate between OS environments
- Change or replace drives
- Transfer sensitive and important data
Originally designed around AMD Opteron™ processors, the NextDimension Evo supports the Dual and Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ processors, and we have expanded our processor offerings to include Dual and Quad Core Intel® Xeon® processors.

- How free-fall protection works: A 0 G motion-sensor detects changes in acceleration equal to the force of gravity. In a free fall of as little as 8", the drive quickly parks the read/write heads to prevent data damage.
