PCI Expansion Chassis
Systems from NextComputing can be expanded through a PCI Express cable connection to a compact PCI expansion chassis. This is a high-performance way to construct a system that uses multiple similar I/O boards, while maintaining full PCI bus speed and software transparency.
The external expansion chassis can also be used to physically separate a system’s CPU and I/O functions with no performance loss, offering the benefits of a stand-alone workstation, including greater functionality and lower cost than multiple linked workstations.
